Cahors is the homeland of Malbec, that's right, the grape Argentina is now famous for really belongs to France and Bordeaux, and specifically Cahors. Not as extracted, tannic and fruit forward as it's Argentinian style, this Malbec is well structured and shows notes of earth and forest floor, and lots of black fruit. Cahors, France, 2016.
