Belgian-born Cornelissen is a star of natural Sicilian winemaking. His wines are adored by natural wine geeks and sommeliers. His decision to relocate to Sicily was for wine, and in particular for Etna - to make wine from the volcanic region of Mount Etna. Susucaru Rosso is his field blend, a mix of Nerello Mascalese, Nerello Capuccio, Allicante Bouschet and others. Cornelissen's grapes are biodynamically farmed and his wine is crafted with the carefullest attention, making the best quality wine with as little intervention as possible.
