Lcated in Tarn, southern France, Laurent Cazotte grows orchards of fruit for distilling and vineyards of indigenous grapes, like this Jurancon Noir. Cazotte practices organics and biodynamics and minimal intervention when it comes to winemaking. An expressive nose full of fruit, flowers and spices: raspberry, cherry, poeny, rose, cinnamon and pepper. Crunchy acidity and tannin with well integrated alcohol for a medium bodied wine that loves food. Tarn, France, 2018.
