Les Equilibristes are Francois de Monval and Florent Girou, who aim to "shake up winemakers willing to craft different wines". Their set of golden rules are: indigenous grape varieties, organic winemaking, indigenous yeast and minimal sulphur.
"Le Joufflu" is made from the red grapes Grolleau and Pineau d'Aunis. Fruit forward and deliciously funky with crunchy tannins and acidity. Languedoc, France, 2018.
