The Barouillet family has been farming vines in Bergecrac for at least 8 generations. Located east of Saint-Emillion (Bordeaux), Bergecrac is in South West France and home to familiar varieties, like Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. This wine is nearly equal parts Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec and Merlot. Barouillet farms organically and produces low intervention wines. This wine is full of ripe red fruit aromas and blackcurrant. Some sweet spice and a touch of minerally smoke with a rich mouthfeel. Bergecrac, South West France, 2019.
